Edward Gowler has painstakingly cut over 3km of pathways in his 12 acre field of maize plants near March to create the biggest image of The BFG ever created and a phizz-whizzing maze for visitors to get lost in. The record breaking BFG in the maze stretches to over 150 metres (500 feet), making it even bigger than Roald Dahls BFG.

Says Edward Gowler, I grew up with Roald Dahl books, and my kids love the stories now. He has a fantastic ability to inspire and enthuse children to read. 2016 marks 100 years since Roald Dahls birth and I wanted to pay my tribute to the centenary celebrations that are taking ROALD DAHL FAN CREATES WORLDS BIGGEST BFG MAZE   Pictures show The BFG and Lucy Gowler, age 11 inside a 12 acre Maize Maze in the design of the BFG which opens to visitors on Saturday at Skylark Garden Centre.
