FENLANDER: Council’s leisure centre mascots start training for Sport Relief Mile in Whittlesey

TOMMY Tiger and Ziggy, the two mascots from Fenland District Council’s leisure centres, braved the snow on Friday to put in some training for next month’s Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile.

They are encouraging everyone to join The Fenland Mile at the Manor Leisure Centre, Whittlesey, on Sunday March 25. It is part of the nationwide fund-raising effort taking place that weekend.
