LETTER: Brown bin early-bird payment problems

PUBLISHED: 15:30 21 January 2017

With regard to your article in last Friday’s Cambs Times stating that Mr Whitwell form Whittlesey had his cheque returned from DDC for early bird payment I wonder if there ever was an opportunity to pay early.

I attempted to pay this on line but my address was not listed on the site, this I thought strange as they have managed to charge me council tax on this address for the last 40 odd years!

I then telephoned their call centre and was told that I could add it manually and then continue with the payment.

This however did not happen either as I received a message to say that they would be in touch shortly.

Despite leaving my address, email and telephone no I have heard nothing and my address has still not been added.
