Thanks to everyone in Wisbech for your kindness when Santa toured the town

IN the days leading up to Christmas, members of Wisbech Lions Club took their Christmas sleigh with Santa aboard to various parts of our town.

In difficult times for many, we were amazed at the generosity and goodwill we received. Our townsfolk donated large amounts of money to us and we sincerely thank them for their efforts.

As with all Lions Club projects, every penny given will be returned to good causes and charities.

The joy on the faces of the young children who came out to see Santa on his sleigh always gives satisfaction, but the knowledge of all the good we can do locally, helping others, makes every effort worthwhile.

Once again, through your newspaper, may we thank all in Wisbech for their great kindness.
