A £1 million project to resurface a busy Fen road starts today.

Work on the A605 between Coates and Eastrea is expected to finish at the end of April.

The road will be closed from 8pm to 6am each evening with diversions in place.

A Cambridgeshire County Council spokesman said: “Access to properties and businesses will be maintained but there will be some disruption so please allow more time for journeys.

“There will be alternative routes in place and the work should be finished by the end of April.”
