Two cars were involved in a crash at the crossroads between Wimblington Road and Sixteen Foot Bank this morning (April 18).

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "We were called at 7:08am today (April 18) with reports of a collision at the crossroads between Wimblington Road (B1093) and Sixteen Foot Bank (B1098) near Manea.

"The collision involved two cars and the road was closed when emergency services attended the scene.

"Two people have been taken to hospital, but further details of their injuries are unclear.

"The road has now reopened."
