Beehives have been destroyed and bees killed in an attack by a vandal in March.
Four hives were pushed over on a site near to The Avenue between 6pm and 8.15pm on Sunday June 1.
A number of bees were killed in the incident and much of the honey was lost.
Police want to speak to a man seen in the area at the time. He is described as white, slim, about 60 with short grey hair and a beard. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, blue anorak and jeans.
PCSO Rachael Chelverton said: “This was a reckless act which killed potentially thousands of bees and damaged four hives.
“It is likely the offender would have been stung during the incident and I would urge anyone with any information to call police.”
Anyone with any information should call PCSO Chelverton on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
