Binzee re-uses goods to defeat evil waste lord Pain... in recycling-themed play at Fenland schools

TATMAN, Worn Cotton and Binzee took to the stage at Fenland secondary schools as students watched a special play about the importance of recycling.

Year 8s from Thomas Clarkson Academy, in Wisbech, were the latest pupils to see the performance, which aims to teach them about re-using goods.

The production was created by education-based theatre troupe Enact Solutions in partnership with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Waste Partnership, also known as RECAP.

It aims to teach students how to “love their stuff” - with characters recycling and re-using to overcome the “evil waste lord Pain”.

Neale-Wade Community College, March, Sir Harry Smith Community College, Whittlesey, and Cromwell Community College, Chatteris, have also hosted the educational performers.

Students will go on to organise re-use activities, including swap shops and second-hand fashion shows.
