Three races will be held next month to raise funds for a Fenland animal centre.

On Saturday, May 17, one mile, three and a half mile and six mile races will take place at RSPCA Block Fen Animal Centre, near Wimblington, with every finisher getting a medal.

All proceeds raised will be used to help look after the many animals which are cared for at the centre.

The one mile race starts at 10.30am, with the other two races starting 30 minutes later.

Entry for the race is £5, £2 for under-16s. Entry forms are available at the RSPCA Block Fen Animal Centre.

Anyone who would like to take part in the race or volunteer on the day should call race organiser Katie Hunt on 07789 792089.
