A CHATTERIS based low energy lighting company has won the award for Best Low Energy Product at the Interiors 2013 exhibition for their G40 LED lighting system.

tp24 Ltd, who specialise in LED and fluorescent lighting for the domestic market, have taken two years to develop the new system.

The G40 system allows lighting designers more flexibility and creativity with a simple LED solution that is both replaceable and upgradeable.

Managing director, Shaun Davis, said he is certain that LED lighting will be in all of our homes within the next couple of years.

He said: “Prices are coming down rapidly and performance is improving on a monthly basis, our prices are almost the same for LED fittings as the halogen fixtures sold elsewhere.”

Designed in the UK and manufactured in China, the new lamp and lamp holder were revealed to trade buyers at the Interiors UK show, at Birmingham’s NEC, last week.

The company, which employs more than 30 people, has featured in the EDP Future 50 for the last three years.

It continues to grow rapidly and has secured contracts with most of the major developers in the UK to supply their bulbs and light fittings in new homes across the country.

By switching to LED lighting you can expect to save up to 90 per cent of the running costs on your electricity bill.

The tp24 showroom in Chatteris has purpose built light experience rooms where you can see the energy savings and experience LED lighting for yourself.

You can call tp24 on 0844 822 8096 to make an appointment.
