A STATE of the art dance studio which is part of a Newmarket hotel’s £5.5million revelopment will open its doors next month.

The Bedford Lodge Hotel’s facility on Bury Road will be fully air-conditioned and feature mirrored walls and a five star sound system.

Chief Executive Noel Byrne is looking forward to the studio’s launch on January 7.

He said: “We’ve had a very busy year upgrading and extending almost every area of the business and we’re very excited about the launch of the new dance studio. “Whether our customers want to keep fit, try a new hobby or stay in shape, we have something for everybody and we look forward to welcoming our customers, both existing and new.”

The studio will host a range of popular fitness classes including Zumba, Pilates, Yoga and Spin which will be run by instructors who have been personally auditioned by celebrity personal trainer Niki Wibrow.

Its timetable will be refreshed every three months and the facility will be available to members of the hotel’s Edge Health and Fitness Club as well as guests at the four star hotel.

A £3million spa which is being developed at the adjacent Rockfield House will also be opened next summer.
