A caravan has been destroyed by fire on the A141 Isle of Ely Way near March.

Fire fighters from March and Chatteris were called to the blaze at around 4.25pm on Friday.

A fire service spokesman said: “Firefighters arrived to find a caravan well alight and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their stations by 5.45pm.”

The spokesman added: “The cause of the fire was accidental.”
