Year 7 students at Cromwell Community College in Chatteris enjoyed a cake decorating demonstration from chef Emily Locks.

Miss Locks, who works for five-star-rated WPL Catering, recently launched her own business, ‘Emily’s Bakeaway’, producing bespoke cakes and bakes.

She won a gold award at the World Skills competition for her afternoon tea.

Jackie Harding, learning resource centre manager, said: “The pupils really enjoyed their baking and decorating experience.”
