A community cafe which regularly raises money for local charity projects has presented money to a games club.

Ursula Revill of Nellie’s Community Cafe presented a cheque for £200 to Edna Bryant (Friday Games Club) and to Claire Wright (Brainwave, in memory of Jacob Wright) a cheque for £1,025

Nellie’s will now be supporting E.D.S. (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) and MAGPAS.

Nellie’s Community Cafe operates twice a month, on the second Wednesday of each month, at the school community room, and on the last Friday of the month at Scott Court sheltered housing scheme.

It has raised thousands of pounds for good causes.
