Residents are being given their say on how a council should spend its money for the next three years.

The consultation will help Fenland District Council to decide its future priorities at a time when it coping with the Government’s spending cuts.

It lists 11 priorities and asks people to say which are the most and least important to them.

The priorities include street cleansing, help for local businesses, reducing crime and antisocial behaviour and protecting vulnerable residents,

Residents are asked to indicate how much impact it would have on them or their families if particular services were reduced.

It also asks them to suggest how they might be able to help the council deliver its key services - for example, by joining a community group or helping a vulnerable neighbour.

The questionnaire is available in the Fenland @ your service shops in March, Whittlesey and Wisbech, the Chatteris Community Hub and in its leisure and business centres.

It can also be found online at www.fenland.gov.uk/yourviews2014

All responses must be returned to the council by February 10.
