Officers have patrolled outside All Saints School and issued fixed penalty tickets as police continued their crackdown on dangerous parking.

Parking tickets were also issued outside Burrowmoor School, March, on Monday.

Three tickets were handed out outside Thomas Eaton School, Wimblington, on Thursday and outside Glebelands School, Chatteris, on Friday.

A Cambs Police spokesman said: “Officers have continued to patrol schools in your area and vehicles parking in unsafe positions near the school are being issued with tickets.

“Can all parents share with their friends and family the on-going importance of child safety when they are on their way to school. “Other schools are also having road safety patrols today and the rest of the week. Thank you for your support.”
