American superstar Demi Lovato to perform at Newmarket Races

Grammy-nominated singing sensation Demi Lovato is set to perform her first ever UK racecourse show at Newmarket.

The 25-year-old American singer has been added to the summer concert line-up, and will take to the stage in Suffolk on June 9.

Best known for tracks such as Skyscraper, Cool For The Summer, Heart Attack and Give Your Heart A Break, the former Disney star has various accolades to her name, including 14 Teen Choice Awards, five People’s Choice Awards as well as a Grammy nomination and a Brit nomination.

Saf Chowdhury, director of concerts and marketing for The Jockey Club Live, said: “We’re delighted to announce Demi Lovato as our Summer Saturday headliner. Her achievements as a global star are second to none and the show will be something very special.”

Also performing at Newmarket this summer will be Paloma Faith, Craig David, Plan B, George Ezra, James Blunt and The Vamps.

Tickets for Demi Lovato at Newmarket go on presale on Thursday, April 5 at 8am and general sale from 8am on Friday via thejockeyclublive.co.uk
