A man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply after police searched an address in Chatteris.

The Fenland Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out the execution of a warrant in the Chatteris area on the morning of Friday October 12.

A quantity of class A drugs were seized and a male was arrested for possession with intent to supply.

He was taken to the King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre to be interviewed by officers.

A police spokesman said: “Such interventions will continue as the local team continue to target those who deal drugs in the Fenland area.”
