A drugs swoop in Ely has been described as a “great result” by police who arrested four people at the scene.

Police say they executed a search warrant in Abbotts Way in Ely on Thursday morning.

“Officers from the local policing team retrieved what is believed to be a significant amount of class A controlled drugs from the location,” said a spokesman.

“Four people were arrested and bailed whilst the suspected drugs are analysed and the matter is fully investigated.”
