A second woman in her 20s has died following a collision at Murrow near Wisbech as police revealed they are still looking for a passenger in one of the vehicles involved who fled the scene.

Details of the second person who died in last Thursday’s collision at Black Drove are being withheld by police until family members have been contacted.

On Friday it was revealed that Jade Green, 24, of Beechwood Road, Wisbech, died when the Vauxhall Astra she was driving was involved in a collision with a Ford Transit at 7.10am.

Two passengers in the vehicle, a man and a woman, were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and the woman has, sadly, since died. The driver of the van, a man, suffered minor injuries.

Officers investigating the collision are appealing for information to trace the fourth person who was believed to be in the vehicle, but left the scene. The man is described as white, in his 20s, with dark curly hair and a beard.

In a statement Jade’s family said: “Jade was a much loved sister and daughter. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.”

Anyone with information about the collision or the man’s identity is asked to call the Road Policing Unit on 101 quoting incident 73 of 9 November, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.

Friends of Jade have revealed that her parents have told them that want the funeral service to be a celebration of their daughter’s life.

One family friend posted to Facebook that “ Jade’s mum has said her funeral is an open door and would you all please wear your ‘going out’ clothes’ as you would have when you saw Jade on a weekend”.

She said they wanted Jade to be remember “by having her one last party and to go out with a big bang”.

Dozens of Jade’s friends have taken to the Cambridgeshire Constabulary Facebook page to pay tribute to Jade.

Lisa Roberts wrote that “it wasn’t your time to go, you have so many people that will miss you; the town is shocked and in pain by everyone that knew you well or not at all xxx”.

Kacey Boughen said: “Thank you for being like family; we have loads of good memories and you will never be forgotten.”

Rebecca McCourt said she it was “absolutely heart breaking for everyone that had the pleasure of knowing this girl she definitely has left a hole in Wisbech- our thoughts are with all Jade’s family and friends at this sad time.”

Sonya Tupney said: “You will be so missed Jade. I loved your big hugs and the way you lifted a room by just being you. That’s rare and never will there be another able to make everyone laugh and smile.”

Nikki Ryan wrote: “May you RIP Jade, you beautiful angel gone but never forgotten. You will be truly missed you was a good friend to all who knew; you fly high.”

Hannah Young said: RIP Jade you touched many people’s hearts through out the years.”

Sophie Parker said: “The nights out that we had together are some of the best I’ve had and you were so loyal to each and every one of your friends.”

Jordan Bannister wrote: Words can’t even describe how much this whole town will miss you Jade you’ve been an amazing friend to so many. I’ll never forget how much you did for me and how much you’ve been there for us all.”

And Janet Edgeley wrote simply “devastating; our bubble has burst. We will miss you so much Jade”.
