Fears grow for Downham Market man who has been missing for almost three weeks

A 44-year-old man from the Downham Market area has been missing for 19 days.

Barry Birch, of James Scott Close, has not been seen or heard from since Friday, December 27.

He is described as white, of slim build and 5ft 8ins tall. He has hazel eyes, is usually clean shaven and has short, light brown hair. It is not known what he was wearing.

He has failed to attend several pre-booked medical appointments and has ongoing health concerns.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who believes they may have spotted a man matching such a description or has information regarding his current location.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Norfolk Constabulary on 101 immediately.

A man was arrested in Soham last Thursday for possession of a class A and B drugs, alongside handling stolen goods as part of East Cambridgeshire Police’s latest crack-down.
