With non-stop music across eight hours, the varied programme included 72 performances which ranged from pop, jazz and folk to classical.

Amongst the musicians were guitarists, solo and duet singers, recorder consort, violinist, flautist, piano students, and the Clarkson Singers.

Loc-Mai Yuen-Brooker, event organiser, said: “It went absolutely fantastically. Everybody enjoyed it and we had a lovely audience.

“All 40 seats remained full throughout the day, with more people watching from the door too.

“The great thing about it was being able to share music; people brought their instruments along and were excited to perform.

“The tea room was open too and we had a lot of donations of cakes and sandwiches, with the money going to the fund.

“We raised £476 just from donations on the day, but we’ve still got some sponsorship money to come in and that’s not including what’s been raised on the Just Giving page either.”
