NEWLYWEDS Peter Goodall and Joanna Lapeta were the first couple to tie the knot in March Register Office’s new abode in March Library this morning.

The register office re-opened today after relocating from Audmoor House, next to the Cromwell Hotel.

The move is part of a project to improve access to registration services in Fenland, with services in Wisbech due to relocate into the new Cambridgeshire County Council Awdry House next year.

March register office opening hours: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9.30am to 12.30pm, and 1pm to 4pm; Ceremonies are held on Saturdays by appointment only.
