An Easter fun day raised nearly £300 for a primary school on Sunday.
Friends of Gedney School (FOGS) took over Victory Hall and the surrounding area and held an EggStravaganza in aid of Gedney Church End Primary School.
Revellers enjoyed an Easter treasure hunt, skittles and face and nail painting.
There was a craft table set up where children got make cards, bonnets and crowns.
Volunteers baked a vast array of cakes and there was also a barbecue to whet the appetite.
The highlight of the event, which raised £296, was an Easter bonnet parade, which was judged by Gedney’s new vicar Rev Erica Crust and Knit & Natter founder Astrid Appleton.
Mrs Appleton said: “It was very difficult to judge winners as so much work had gone into the hats. It was nice to see that so many children got involved.”
