Karen Radenkova wins best in show award at Atelier East’s summer exhibition

ARTIST Karen Radenkova received the best in show award for her oil painting Rhea (the Hackney Pearl) in the recent Atelier East summer exhibition at Wisbech Museum.

She said: “I was delighted to hear the news. It spurs me on to keep painting.

“My thanks goes especially to Karen Harvey of Atelier East for giving me the confidence to show my work and without whom I would still be painting quietly in my conservatory, my work unseen.”

Miss Harvey added: “Everyone agrees that Karen is a really deserving winner. Her paintings are beautiful and she has a natural talent for capturing the sitter’s personality.”
