The staff were presented with Long Service Awards after each completing 25 years or more with the authority. All work or have worked in schools in the Fenland area.

They were joined by a further 23 long serving members of staff from other parts of the county, who were presented with their awards by county council chairman John Powley and Gayle Gorman, service director for learning.

Cllr Powley said: “Everyone receiving awards did so because of the outstanding contribution they have made to Cambridgeshire County Council and the many services it provides.

“I am delighted their loyal service and dedication has been recognised and I am very pleased to be a part of that. Congratulations to them all.”
