The incident happened just after 3pm this afternoon on the Wisbech Road mini roundabout outside The Men of March.

No one was injured.

The driver, who did not want to be named, said he “misinterpreted the corner” and that the post was “in a stupid place.”

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Police said: “Wisbech Road, March - Police are in attendance to a road traffic collision at the junction with Hundred Road, which is causing long tailbacks. Please avoid the area.”
