Man hit by train at March station

A man has been hit by a train at March rail station within the past few minutes.

Emergency services are heading to the scene – one eye witness has reported seeing a man “lying motionless” on the track.

Our reporter on the scene said: “Air ambulance coming in to land, gates down at Station Road and heavy queues of traffic.”

A train remains stationary in the terminal.
