Members of a slimming group have been shedding pounds to raise funds for charity.

Over the past six weeks, March Slimming World members have lost a staggering 156.5 stone and raised £130 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Group leader Helen Moore said: “We have had great fun in the groups with some amazing weight losses. Over the challenge the groups have lost a total of 156.5 stone in weight and raised £130 for Macmillan.

“I would like to say a massive well done and thank you to everyone for supporting such a worthy cause.”
