POLICE have released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with a theft of a handbag.

A woman had her bag stolen in Sainsbury’s in Lisle Lane, Ely, shortly after midday on November 17.

Now police have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace in connection with the theft.

Detective Constable Dan Bramley said: “I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man pictured to call police as we believe he may have important information to assist our investigation.”

Anyone with any information should call DC Bramley on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
