POLICE have released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with a theft of a handbag.

A woman had her bag stolen in Sainsbury’s in Lisle Lane, Ely, shortly after midday on November 17.

Now police have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace in connection with the theft.

Detective Constable Dan Bramley said: “I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man pictured to call police as we believe he may have important information to assist our investigation.”
