Police give chase to man who had cannabis in March park

West End Park in March where the man was caught


A man was chased by police in West End Park March after being found in possession of cannabis.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team say that “they gave chase to a suspicious male” near to the skate bowl.

He was caught and found to be in possession of Cannabis.

The man was interviewed at the police station and has been given a caution with conditions to attend drug rehabilitation services.

A post on Policing March and Chatteris said: “Intensive covert and high visibility patrols will continue in our parks to deter those who continue to ignore the law around drugs use.”
