Two police officers were assaulted in the Fenland area this weekend.

Fenland Police say it followed two ‘separate, unrelated incidents’ on Saturday night.

One offender was issued a conditional caution, while the second was charged and given a court date.

@FenCops tweeted yesterday: “Officers work to protect and serve, not go home injured.”
