A police car was rammed after officers tried to stop a car in Chatteris in the early of Saturday morning, and the driver made off on foot.
And in a separate incident in March on Saturday evening, another driver abandoned his vehicle after being involved in a collision near the City Road car park.
The police have appealed for information about the drivers involved in both incidents.
At Chatteris, police officers had been carrying out routine patrols on Friday night as part of the work to enforce a dispersal order.
A police spokesman said: “While on patrol, officers attempted to stop a Ford Mondeo in the early hours of Saturday at the A141 in Chatteris.
“The vehicle failed to stop and turned onto Fenland Way before ramming the police vehicle, the driver made off on foot. Enquiries are on-going to try to trace the driver.”
At March, police were called to reports that a black Ford Focus was wheel-spinning in City Road car park at about 6pm on Saturday.
A police spokesman added: “When officers arrived, the car made off and was involved in a collision with another vehicle nearby. The driver failed to stop at the scene before abandoning his vehicle and running off through Robingoodfellows Park. The vehicle has been recovered and no-one was injured.”
Investigating officer PC Phil Richardson said: “I would urge the driver of the Ford Focus to get in touch to help us establish how this incident occurred.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen this vehicle in the area, or in the moments leading up to the collision, to call police.”
Anyone with any information should call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
