POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car was overturned and damaged in Chatteris, on Halloween, Wednesday October 31.

Vandals flipped over a green Renault Clio in Railway Lane at 8.30pm.

The car received a large amount of damage to panels and mirrors, and its rear-side windscreen was smashed. It was left on its side after the incident.

PC Chris Jupp said: “I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident, it would have taken a lot of effort to flip a car over, so someone must have heard or seen something.”

Anyone with information should contact the roads policing unit on 101.
