Wisbech St Mary Pre-School has been doing its bit for charity by raising money for Sport Relief.

One idea has been to work with the pre-school to give them an understanding of a girl from Ghana and comparing her toys with theirs.

Sally Raven, administrator, said: “She lives in a shack and has old things which she found on a rubbish tip for her toys. We have been learning about her all week. “Learning about her has not only raised money for sport relief it is helping the children learn valuable lessons on how we live and how lucky we are.”

The children wore red and sporty clothes all week (for a donation).

Staff, parents, carers and children also joined in with a ‘walk-a-thon’; five laps around the primary school field.

So £117 has been raised for Sport Relief!

Sally said: “Wisbech St Mary Pre-School is charity run. We get involved in lots of activities within the community.”
