I want to complain about this content:
OK - I understand that cycling on the footpath is contrary to the Highway Code. However, are the Police going to use a bit of commonsense where it is needed? For instance, are they going to fine cyclists heading to Tesco's for using the footpath? - to cross the Peas Hill roundabout and to turn right into Hostmoor Avenue is inherently dangerous. It is far safer to use the footpath, giving way to any pedestrians of course.
