Rock music, belly dancing and more at event to raise funds for new Welney pavilion

A concert will be held on Saturday to raise money for a new pavilion.

The Welney Pavilion Action Team have taken it upon themselves to raise funds for a new pavilion.

They have enlisted the help of rock musicians who will perform on Welney playing field between noon and 4pm. There will also be belly dancing, pilates and more. The afternoon entertainment is free.

From 7.30-11.30pm, there will be a barbecue and dance music. Entry is £3.

Three women who tried to call the non-emergency police line to report a man asleep in public toilets in Wisbech gave up after being put on hold for more than ten minutes - only to discover he died in the cubicle during the night.
