EIGHTY per cent of students at Sir Harry Smith Community College, Whittlesey, achieved A*-C grades in their A-levels.
This is a seven per cent improvement on last year’s results.
There was also a nine per cent increase, from 43 per cent to 52 per cent, in students attaining A*-B grades.
The college had an overall 99 per cent pass rate.
Jonathan Digby, principal, said: “The students have worked extremely hard to achieve this level of success and they deserve to feel very proud of their exam results.
“The results also reflect the hard work and dedication of the teachers and staff at Sir Harry Smith Community College.”
Two students who excelled were Anoushka Adam, who gained two As and two Bs and is off to read Maths at Birmingham, and James Dietz, who scored an A*, A and two Bs and is going to study engineering at Durham University.
Reece Gordon, Samuel Killingworth and Emily Savage also did extremely well, achieving two As and one B in their exams.
