Six detained after call to suspicious activity, Outwell

Six people are in custody after police were alerted last night about suspicious activity in Outwell.

Officers were called to Wisbech Road in Outwell at about 5.40pm following reports a group of people walking along the A1101 in Outwell approaching members of the public asking for assistance.

A search was carried out in the area and five men and one woman were detained and are being held in police custody at King’s Lynn.

Police are working with Home Office officials as part of their enquiries.
