We are inviting our readers to enter our exciting 'Spring into Summer' competition which offers £1,200 worth of prizes to help you improve your overall fitness and health.
In conjunction with our business awards winner Tim Megginson we're offering places on his 'boot camp' style fitness programmes in Soham, Chatteris and Ely.
You can win either a month's series of courses or a one week taster series and at times and venues to suit.
Throughout the month long competition you can experience at first hand what it could be like for you by following Editor John Elworthy as he embarks on this gruelling, but enthralling and rewarding, programme.
You can also follow the editor on twitter (@johnelworthy) to check both his determination to succeed, to follow his progress and to see if he reaches his goal of losing a trouser size, eating more healthier and dropping some excess weight.
This blog may have gone a little quiet but when you have chickens it can sometimes be an ill omen to predict when they come home to roost. You get the drift.
Week three, day one of boot camp 2014 but it’s not as though I’m counting!
Over the next four weeks I will be writing weekly articles as part of a four part ‘get in shape’ series. Each article will give you one big tip that you can build in, and if you follow the advice you will notice significant changes in your body, health and energy.
Boot camp week two, start of, is not for the faint hearted. Mentally I’m getting used to the early morning alarm (5am, thank you) and adjusting to an improved healthy eating regime which, in all honesty, had never really existed.
