FOURTEEN girls from Neale Wade Community College have taken part in the Race for Life at Peterborough.
Teacher Janice Holdich said: “The girls are all aged between 13 and 15 and they chose to run because they have all been affected in some way by cancer.
“So far we’ve raised around £400. I and Mrs Angela Mayes were the two teachers involved. This was the first time we entered a Neale Wade team and after this year’s success we are sure next year we’ll run again.
“We ran in the dark after the event was rescheduled from summer!”
