A Fenland children’s choir entertained guests for more than an hour at a prestigious awards ceremony.

The Thorney Children’s Choir took to the stage at the pre-reception for the POSCARS (Peterborough Oscars), which celebrates musical achievement in schools around Peterborough, at Kingsgate Church in Fengate.

The choir has been keeping busy- they also performed at the Fenland Family Fun Day at Bedford Hall and at a summer concert at Thorney Abbey.

The children will perform again at the Thorney Music Festival at Bedford Hall on August 24.

For more information about the choir call musical director Matthew Coates on 01733 270781.
