Three women will push themselves to the limit when they cycle 100km in aid of three cancer charities.
College of West Anglia Isle Campus staff Natalie Gooch, from Friday Bridge, and Zoe Drew, Elm, alongside their friend Emma Chennery, from Elm, will compete in the Women v Cancer Ride The Night event on May 31 to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action.
The event will see 1,500 cyclists set off from the Royal Windsor Racecourse, pedal into London and then make their way back to the racecourse.
The night time cycle will take in many of London’s most iconic landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, Westminister Abbey and Trafalgar Square.
The cause is close to Mrs Drew’s heart - her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and has made a recovery.
She said: “I have completed the Race For Life several times and this is the next big step for me to help raise funds for excellent causes.”
