Two people have been arrested after a woman in her 20s was cut on her left arm in Chatteris High Street last night (June 20).

Police were called to the incident at around 8.47pm.

A man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s left the scene initially but were later arrested in relation to the incident.

Both remain in custody.

Residents took to social media last night saying that “three police cars and two transits” were between Budgens and Aldi and the area was cordoned off with tape.
