People are being urged to reap the benefits of becoming volunteers.

An event showcasing the volunteering opportunities available in Fenland will be held at the Ferry Project, Octavia View, Wisbech, on Tuesday from 5-7pm.

The event is jointly organised by Fenland District Council’s Street Pride and Mytime Active, whose personal trainers are looking for volunteers to support their health walks in the area.

All the district’s Street Pride groups are also keen to recruit new members.

For more details, call FDC’s Street Pride coordinator on 01354 654321 (e-mail streetpride@fenland.gov.uk) or Mytime Active on 077755 32285, or visit www.personalhealthtrainer.org.uk
