More than 80 jobs will be created by the opening of a supermarket next month.

The 250 staff at the Tesco Superstore on Cromwell Road, Wisbech, will transfer over the new Extra store.

They will be joined by more than 80 new recruits.

The new store, which will include an opticians, phone shop and clothing department, will replace the existing Tesco Superstore on Cromwell Road.

Store Manager, Kevin Chestnutt, said: “It is a pleasure to have so many loyal and experienced members of staff in the team.

“As a store we are delighted to have the opportunity to create additional jobs for our local community.”
