A woman who died when her car left the road in Ramsey last night has been named as Madeleine Parnwell, 68, from Warboys.

Mrs Parnwell, of First Turf Fen Road, was driving a green Volvo Torslanda along Puddock Road at about 9.30pm when the vehicle left the road and went in to a water-filled ditch.

Police said Mrs Parnwell was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
