SHOCKED March Town Cricket Club captain Chris Ringham has been ruled out for four weeks with a broken little finger.

Doctors told the left-arm seamer the bad news yesterday - two days after he had helped his side beat Godmanchester DESPITE carrying the knock.

Ringham suffered the “severe crack” in the knuckle of his little finger on his left hand more than a week ago, during March’s defeat to Foxton.

Unaware of the break, he took two wickets as March shrugged off their four-game Tucker Gardner Premier Division losing streak on Saturday.
