Leverington Youths under-16s enjoy stellar first season

Leverington Youths under-16s have enjoyed a fantastic first season, finishing second out of 10 teams in the Peterborough under-16s Division Three.

Joint boss Alan Moorey, who runs the side with Steve Beakhouse, thanked sponsors The Luxe and The Globe in Wisbech for their support.

He said: “We were delighted to finish so high and hope to have the same success when we move up to under-18s next season.

“Many thanks to our sponsors. Without their support we would not have been able to get a team going.”
