Invincible Wisbech youngsters cruise to tournament triumph

WISBECH Grammar School’s youngest hockey stars are all smiles after they triumphed in an under-9s tournament at Beeston Hall.
The Magdalene House youngsters went unbeaten in four games to take the trophy on goal difference.
They beat Taverham Hall 1-0, Town Close 1-0 and Gresham’s Prep 3-0 before holding hosts Beeston Hall to a 0-0 draw to secure the victory.
Josh Sandall, from the school’s under-9s B team, was named player of the tournament in the B team competition.
